Over 50 academic institutions have submitted to the SCrAPS program since its inception in 2004. Many crystallographers from participating institutions are trained to use the ChemMatCARS setup and have been approved to do experiments onsite. Samples are currently pooled at Indiana University and most SCrAPS measurements are carried out by Maren Pink and Veronica Carta (Indiana University). Students are regularly invited to participate in data collections. At ChemMatCARS scientific support is provided by Yu Sheng Chen and other beamline scientists.
